Four Injured in Gas Cylinder Explosion at Restaurant in Qamishli

Four people sustained minor injuries on Wednesday morning following the explosion of a gas cylinder inside a restaurant in the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria.

According to local sources, the blast caused a fire in the kitchen before firefighting teams managed to contain it and prevent it from spreading to nearby shops.

An emergency official from the People’s Municipality said that the injured were transported to the hospital for treatment, confirming that their condition is stable.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident and the circumstances that led to the gas leak.
