Al-Sharaa Arrives in Riyadh to Attend the Future Investment Initiative and Meet Saudi Crown Prince

Syrian Interim Government Prime Minister Ahmad Al-Sharaa arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday to participate in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference, held under the theme “The Key to Prosperity” at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center.
Al-Sharaa was received at King Khalid International Airport by Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Riyadh Region. He is scheduled to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the sidelines of the conference.
The conference brings together leaders from more than 20 countries, including the presidents of Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Mauritania, Bangladesh, and Cuba, as well as the King of Jordan, the Vice President of China, and around 8,000 participants — among them ministers, government officials, and representatives of international companies and investment funds.
In addition, the Saudi-Syrian roundtable meeting was held with the participation of a high-level Syrian economic delegation that included the Ministers of Economy, Finance, Energy, and Communications, the Director of the Syrian Investment Authority, and representatives from both the public and private sectors. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for economic cooperation and strengthening partnerships between the two countries.
