Two Killed and Six Injured in Attack on Passenger Bus Between Damascus and Suwayda

Two people were killed and six others injured on Tuesday after a passenger bus traveling from Damascus to Suwayda in Syria came under attack.

Local medical sources reported that the victims were a young woman, Aya Sallam, and a young man, Kamal Abdel Baqi, while the injured were transported to hospitals in Suwayda for treatment.

Initial information indicated that the attack occurred as a result of gunfire by armed men targeting the bus as it was passing along the main road between Damascus and Suwayda. As of now, Syrian authorities have not issued any official comment regarding the incident.
