Protest by Medical Staff in Manbij Over Delayed Salaries

Today, the National Hospital of Manbij in eastern Aleppo countryside witnessed a protest held by dozens of medical, technical, and administrative staff, expressing their frustration over salary delays exceeding four months due to halted funding from supporting organizations.
Participants voiced concern about the impact of these delays on the continuity of essential medical services, calling for the immediate payment of salaries and the assurance of sustained financial support to keep the hospital operational.
According to Al-Jamahir Newspaper correspondent, Moawiya Al-Saleh, the protest comes amid worsening economic hardships, warning of potential repercussions on the health of local residents in the Aleppo countryside, where the healthcare sector is already suffering from shortages in medical supplies.
The medical staff urged the relevant authorities to intervene urgently to prevent service disruptions, emphasizing the critical need to support the healthcare sector under the current dire humanitarian conditions.
