Erdogan Confirms He Will Not Attend Sharm El-Sheikh Summit if Netanyahu Participates

Informed sources revealed that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s plane was delayed in landing at Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport and circled over the Red Sea for some time. This occurred amid reports about the possible participation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the upcoming summit in Sharm El-Sheikh.
The sources explained that the plane only landed after it was later announced that Netanyahu would not attend the summit.
They also indicated that Erdoğan had informed his counterparts at the summit that he would not participate if Netanyahu attended, and hinted at returning to Turkey should the Israeli Prime Minister’s presence be confirmed.
It is worth noting that these developments come amid tense relations between Turkey and Israel, reflecting how these disputes affect regional and diplomatic events.
