Western countryside of Suwayda witnesses clashes between local factions and Public Security Forces

The western countryside of Suwayda witnessed limited clashes yesterday, Wednesday, between local factions and the Public Security Forces affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Defense, on the axis of the town of Walgha, according to local sources.

The sources reported that a group of residents from the western countryside attempted to regain control of their villages, leading to the clashes, which resulted in the death of a young man named Rabee’ Murshid, after being targeted by a drone strike.

The National Guard stated in a statement published on its official Facebook page that “no instructions were given to launch an attack,” calling on all fighters to adhere to the pre-agreed deployment points.
