National Guard carries out operation in eastern Suwayda desert after spotting suspicious vehicles.

The National Guard in Suwayda governorate carried out a field operation in the eastern Suwayda desert targeting a vehicle transporting logistical supplies after receiving information about suspicious movements in the area.
A military source in the National Guard explained that the operation is part of efforts to enhance security in the Suwayda desert and follow up on any activity suspected of threatening the region’s stability. The forces continue their tasks with high precision and full readiness.
In a related context, the leader of the Men of Dignity Movement, Mazid Khaddaj, conducted a field tour of several security checkpoints in the western sector of Suwayda governorate, inspecting the readiness of the elements and field coordination procedures.
Khaddaj stressed the importance of unifying efforts and organizing military and security work within a coordinated framework representing the National Guard to enhance stability and protect civilians from any potential threat.
These developments come at a time when the eastern region of Suwayda is witnessing a limited security alert to follow up on suspicious movements in the desert and pursue cells that try to exploit the rugged geographical terrain of the area.
