Serbian President Warns of Approaching Global Conflict

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has warned of the possibility of a world war, noting that most countries are preparing for a major confrontation amid escalating international tensions.

In remarks reported by the Serbian newspaper Kurir, Vučić said:

“Everyone is preparing for war, and when countries prepare for it, that means it will eventually happen. I say this with confidence because I follow what is happening and see preparations everywhere.”

The Serbian president explained that many countries are currently trying to define their positions and alliances as global tensions rise, pointing out that “neutrality is becoming increasingly difficult amid growing international polarization.”

Vučić’s remarks came shortly after a similar warning by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who spoke of the risk of a third world war if major powers continue to make “strategic mistakes” in managing current crises.

These statements reflect growing concerns in Europe over the potential expansion of regional conflicts into a full-scale global war, especially as tensions between Russia and the West persist, and crises intensify in other parts of the world.
