Deir ez-Zor Teachers Demand Review of Recent Transfer Decisions

A number of teachers in Deir ez-Zor Governorate held a protest today in front of the governorate building, objecting to decisions issued by the Ministry of Education concerning transfers and educational assignments.

The participants stated that the decisions did not take into account their social circumstances and places of residence, considering them a threat to their job and family stability. They called on the ministry to reconsider these measures and to involve educational staff in any future changes.

This move follows a previous protest organized on September 28th in rejection of the new assignments, where teachers expressed their dissatisfaction with what they described as a lack of fairness and transparency in transfer and appointment decisions.

These protests are part of a series of demonstrations organized by teachers in the governorate, demanding a review of the recent decisions to ensure the stability of the educational process and the rights of educational staff.
