AL-Sheikh Al-Hajri Affirms Commitment to Keeping Arms to Protect Sweida

Sheikh Hikmat Al-Hajri, the spiritual leader of the Druze community in Sweida, confirmed that the option of disarming is currently off the table, noting that this decision is linked to guaranteeing the rights of the province’s residents.

His statements emphasized the importance of representing the “National Guard” independently in the new constitution, with the aim of protecting the people of Sweida and ensuring their self-security.
