Al-Bukamal and Kuweires: Unidentified Strikes and Air Activity Raise Concerns

Local sources reported hearing explosions and military strikes yesterday in the border city of Al-Bukamal in the Deir Ezzor countryside, believed to have targeted sites linked to Iran-backed groups, with no official confirmation or reports of casualties.

At the same time, Kuweires military airport east of Aleppo witnessed intense flights of unidentified aircraft during the night, without any reports of attacks or injuries.

These developments come amid escalating security tensions in Syria after years of conflict, alongside ongoing Israeli warnings to prevent the transfer of weapons to groups it describes as “extremist.”
