Hamas Leader: Trump’s Gaza Plan Has Not Been Presented to Us, Disarmament Is Impossible

Gaza – A Hamas leader stated yesterday that the plan announced by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Gaza has not yet been presented to the movement through any intermediaries, affirming that disarming the movement is impossible.

Trump announced during his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington that Netanyahu supports an American plan for a ceasefire in Gaza, which includes a gradual Israeli withdrawal and the disarmament of Hamas, with Netanyahu threatening to “destroy the movement” if it does not comply.

The Hamas leader clarified that the American plan contained nothing new, pointing to fundamental principles of the Palestinian people that cannot be compromised.

It is worth noting that the White House earlier published a document titled “President Trump’s Comprehensive Plan to End the Conflict in Gaza,” which, according to Trump, includes support from Arab leaders and stipulates the immediate release of all hostages as one of its clauses.
