Iran Declares Failure of Negotiations with the United States

Tehran – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced today, Tuesday, that negotiations with the American side have reached a “complete dead end.”
Araghchi explained that Iran made intensive efforts to reach a settlement through multiple meetings with the European Troika countries (France, Germany, and the United Kingdom), as well as through direct communication and intermediaries with the Americans. However, these efforts did not yield results due to what he described as excessive American demands and the cooperation of European countries with Washington.
The minister called on the Iranian people to deal with the political and strategic repercussions of the sanctions, noting that these sanctions will have significant effects on both political and strategic levels and must be confronted.
This announcement follows the European Troika’s statement last Sunday about reactivating United Nations sanctions on Iran after the expiration of the so-called “snapback” mechanism deadline, emphasizing that the re-imposition of UN sanctions does not signify the end of the diplomatic path.
