Trump Announces Final Plan to End Gaza Crisis with Netanyahu

U.S. President Donald Trump expressed in an interview with Reuters his intention to present the final version of a proposal to end the war in the Gaza Strip during his upcoming meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu next week.

Israeli and American media reports indicated that the plan includes 21 key points, among them the release of all hostages held by Hamas within 48 hours, in exchange for a permanent ceasefire and a full withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, along with the formation of an independent Palestinian committee to govern Gaza.

Trump’s statements came amid growing pressure on Netanyahu to accept the deal, affirming that he would be “very firm” in achieving peace and warning of a “cycle of violence” if negotiations fail.

Meanwhile, Hamas expressed its readiness to sit at the negotiating table immediately, provided strong security guarantees are in place, while the Israeli right-wing coalition rejects any concessions short of a “complete defeat” of the movement
