6 Dead and 3 Injured in Tragic Traffic Accident on Raqqa – Deir Ezzor Road

Six people, including two children and two women, lost their lives today, Friday, in a traffic accident on the Raqqa – Deir Ezzor road near the village of Dalha in southeastern Raqqa countryside.

According to local sources, the accident occurred after a large truck collided with a Hyundai car carrying the victims. The accident also resulted in three others being injured, who were taken to Raqqa National Hospital for treatment.

The area occasionally witnesses similar traffic accidents, which local sources attribute to excessive speeding and the lack of safety standards on the roads.
