9 Dead and Over 170 Injured in Israeli Strikes on Sanaa

Houthi-affiliated sources reported the death of 9 people and more than 170 injuries as a result of Israeli airstrikes targeting the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, last evening.
Al-Masirah channel stated that the raids caused damage to a power station and residential neighborhoods, and published images showing damaged buildings in the targeted area.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced that its fighter jets targeted the “general staff headquarters of the Houthis and security and military sites in Sanaa,” noting that the locations were being used for military purposes.
These strikes came a day after the Houthis claimed responsibility for a drone attack on the city of Eilat in southern Israel, which resulted in injuries.
Additionally, the Israeli army announced it intercepted a missile launched from Yemen following sirens sounding in central Israel.
In Yemen, rescuers continued searching for possible victims under the rubble, while the Houthi-affiliated Ministry of Health confirmed that the death toll is expected to rise, with critical injuries among the wounded.
