Idlib: Resumption of Medical Services with Support from the World Health Organization

Syrian authorities announced the resumption of medical services in Idlib Province, after several health facilities had ceased operations in recent weeks due to shortages of supplies.

The announcement came following the arrival of new medical shipments to the region, in cooperation with the World Health Organization (EMRO), which include essential medicines, surgical supplies, and vital medical equipment to address chronic diseases and epidemics.

A statement issued by the organization confirmed that the step aims to improve healthcare for the local population and ensure the continuity of hospitals and health centers, thereby alleviating the suffering of civilians and providing the necessary treatment for patients and the wounded.
