Civil Organizations: The Bombing of Umm Tina Is a Crime Targeting Civilians

Three civil society organizations condemned, in a joint statement, the bombing that struck the village of Umm Tina in the countryside of Deir Hafer, resulting in the death of seven civilians and injuring four others.
The organizations that signed the statement are: the Kurdish Women’s Association – Austria, the German Organization for Development and Peace, and the Geostrategic Organization for the Kurdish Civil Society. The statement noted that what happened “reflects the ongoing systematic attacks against civilians in Syria, especially women and children.”
Calls for Accountability
The organizations demanded holding those responsible for the attack accountable and affirmed that they will submit documented reports to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and to the International Fact-Finding Commission on crimes in Syria.
