Simultaneously, the southern tribes issued a strongly worded statement directed at local factions in Sweida, demanding the release of detainees held by these groups within ten days and threatening a “comprehensive war” if their demands are not met. Protests on the Damascus–Sweida Road

Protests have resumed on the road connecting Damascus and Sweida, with tribe members demanding the return of displaced people to their homes and the provision of basic living conditions for thousands of families. The relocation of some families from Harjalah residences to former military sites has sparked discontent among protesters, who expressed fears about being left exposed outdoors.
