Katz Threatens: A Devastating Hurricane to Hit Gaza Today
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz escalated his rhetoric against Hamas, threatening an imminent severe military strike on the Gaza Strip.
Katz said in a statement on the “X” platform on Monday: “Today, a massive hurricane will strike the sky over Gaza City, and the towers of terrorists will shake. This is a final warning to Hamas`s members and leaders in Gaza and in luxury hotels abroad: release the hostages and lay down your arms, or Gaza will be destroyed along with you.”
He stressed that the Israeli army is continuing to carry out its operations according to the established plan and is preparing to expand the scope of the ground maneuver to control the Gaza Strip.
These statements come as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has urged his ministers to refrain from making any statements regarding the progress of military operations, according to Hebrew media reports.
As The Israeli escalation coincided with a “final ultimatum” issued by US President Donald Trump to Hamas, urging it to accept the US proposal for a ceasefire and the swap of prisoner.
In return, Hamas announced, on Sunday night, that it`s ready to release all Israeli prisoners held since October 2023, in exchange for a comprehensive ceasefire and the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza.
