Damascus: Syrian-Chinese Talks to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation

On Saturday in Damascus, The Foreign Minister of Syria Assad Al-Sheibani discussed with the Chinese Ambassador to Syria, Shi Hongwei, ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Ambassador Shi Hongwei reaffirmed his country’s support for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, confirming China’s readiness to continue expanding areas of partnership.

The meeting comes amid reports of new diplomatic movements aiming to enhance coordination between Damascus and Beijing on political and economic levels.
