Gaza- Israeli Army Destroys “Mushtaha” Tower and Announces Expansion of Military Operations

The Israeli army carried out an airstrike targeting the “Mushtaha” Tower in the Ansar area west of Gaza City, completely destroying it after hitting it with several missiles.

The targeting is part of a new Israeli military campaign that the army said aims at multi-story buildings in the city, alleging they are used as “military infrastructure” by  ”Hamas Movement”

According to Palestinian medias, the 16-story tower completely collapsed due to the bombing, while hundreds of displaced people who were inside or in the surrounding tents fled prior to the strike.

It is noted that the Israeli army had previously announced its intention to expand its military operations inside Gaza City in the coming days, focusing on high-rise residential buildings.
