Israel Arrests Seven Syrians in Incursion in Al-Quneitra Countryside

Damascus – Israeli forces carried out an incursion on Wednesday night into the town of Jibata Al-Khashab in northern Quneitra countryside, resulting in the arrest of seven young men from the area, according to official Syrian media sources.
As the Sources reported that the incursion took place during nighttime hours, with the forces raiding homes in the village and detaining several residents, amid ongoing tensions along the disengagement line in southern Syria.
These developments come days after a military escalation in the provinces of Daraa and Quneitra, which involved intensive flights of Israeli warplanes, as well as ground movements and raids leading to additional arrests.
The move indicates continued Israeli violations in the region, amid the stalled 1974 ceasefire agreement between Damascus and Tel Aviv, alongside escalating political and security repercussions.
