30 Killed in Intense Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza

At least 30 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes that have targeted various areas across the Gaza Strip since dawn today, amid ongoing intensive aerial and ground attacks on the city.
Medical sources told Wafa news agency that Al-Shifa Hospital received five dead bodies, while one victim arrived at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital (“Al-Maamadani”), sixteen at Al-Awda Hospital, four at Nasser Hospital, and another four at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
The Al-Nasr neighborhood in western Gaza City experienced heavy bombardment that prevented ambulance and rescue teams from reaching the targeted sites. Meanwhile, Israeli tanks advanced into the neighborhoods of Sabra, Tel al-Hawa, Radhwan, and Sheikh Radwan, further complicating access to hundreds of thousands of civilians trapped amid the fighting.
The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that casualty figures in the past 24 hours reached 79 martyrs and 379 injured, bringing the total number of casualties since October 7, 2023, to 66,005 martyrs and 168,162 injured.
Politically, Hamas stated that it has not received any new proposals from mediators but is ready to consider any initiative positively and responsibly. It noted that negotiations have been stalled since the failed Israeli assassination attempt on Hamas leaders in Doha on September 9.
Yesterday, Hamas denied a report by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz claiming it had given preliminary approval to former U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza plan, which involved a prisoner exchange, gradual Israeli troop withdrawal, and the end of Hamas’s rule in the Strip.
